Professor Stavros Gadinis (Berkeley Law School) is looking for a research assistant for this summer, to work on a project on international financial regulation. The project is an empirical study on why countries adopt certain international financial standards promulgated by private international associations and other bodies. Research assistant tasks will focus on managing and compiling data, conducting statistical tests, and reviewing related literatures. Good working knowledge of Excel and Stata is required. Prior familiarity with large datasets (e.g. World Bank, COW, etc.) is a plus. Average time required per week will be 8-10 hours. Compensation will be highly competitive.
